Bulletproof Coffee!

 

After the holidays and the kids are back in school, intake of coffee may be in full swing in your home to help with the new year transition!

As coffee lovers ourselves, we also know that it unfortunately puts a lot of stress on our adrenal glands. Luckily, there are healthier ways to go drinking coffee where you still get that early morning boost as well as the added health benefits! 🌿☕️

 This is our go to in the morning! It is like a super food for your brain being known to supercharge your brain function, enhance cognitive function and mental clarity and create effortless weight loss with no cravings by way of ketosis. Let us know what you think!

 Ingredients:
 1 1/2 cups of boiling water
 4 tbsp of organic ground coffee
 2 tbsp of unsalted grass-fed butter* (Kerrygold is what we use)
 1 tbsp of organic coconut oil (or MCT oil*-highly suggest for extra brain support)
 1 tbsp of raw cacao powder (Not necessary, you can also use raw honey, organic maple syrup or almond/coconut milk as substitutes for added sweetness)

 *It is very important that the butter is grass-fed as normal butter does not offer the same vitamins and nutrients. Also make sure to use quality coffee that hasn’t been treated with pesticides for maximized results.
 Choose your preferred method to brew the coffee, we use a French press, but any coffee machine will work great! Pour the freshly brewed, hot coffee into a blender. Add in the remainder of ingredients. Secure the lid of the blender tightly and blend together for about 10 seconds or until the mixture is frothy. Pour and enjoy! ☕️☕️☕️
